Plans and Preparation

As April turns to May my thoughts turn towards the transitions that our students are making. Parents of preschool children have made visits to our elementary schools to learn about kindergarten. Our 4th grade students are learning about their transition to Meadows, while our 6th grade students are visiting the middle school and our 8th grade students prepare for their step into high school. Our seniors can see the end of their high school career and are busy preparing for that next step. Our schools have planned end of the year concerts and picnics. Yet there is still time left in this school year. The future beckons all of us but we need to make sure that we take the final steps in this school year. Parents can help students attend to their studies this final month of the school year so that they prepare themselves well for whatever transition comes their way in the fall.
