Mission Statement
In partnership with parents and community, the mission of the NCSD is to ensure that all students develop the knowledge, skills and character necessary to achieve their highest potential and to be productive members of an ever changing global society.
Matt's Safe School Law
The state legislature recently passed a new measure that requires the Novi Community School District to review our anti-bullying policy to make sure that it meets certain requirements. I know that bullying occurs in our schools. I also know that our teachers, administrators, and staff work to prevent bullying. Our employees monitor behavior and work hard to create safe schools. Our goal is to create a culture that communicates clearly that bullying behavior will not be a part of our schools. In an effort to communicate what the new law’s requirements are and to explore the topic of bullying in our schools, I would invite parents and community members to a “Coffee with the Superintendent” to be held at the Novi High School Media Forum on January 31st at 6:00 PM and on February 6th at 10:30 AM at the Novi Public Library. Please join me to discuss this important topic. I’ll bring the coffee!
