NOVI WILDCAT PRE-SEASON TRAINING CLINIC 2010

NOVI BASEBALL (Ages 7-14)
This is a great way to improve your skills and learn techniques used at the high school level! Meet your Novi High School Varsity Players and Coaches! Instructors include Rick Green, in 10th year as Novi HS Head Baseball Coach, record of 214-86 and member of 6 KVC championships. He is also an Instructor at The Bullpen Academy Novi and member of Detroit MSBL Hall of Fame.  Mike Koceski in 10th year as Novi HS Asst Coach, 3rd year starter at MSU 1987-1989 captain and Gold Glove winner 1990. Paul Sabol in the 7th year as Novi HS Bench Coach, JV Asst. Coach for 2nd year: collegiate player.  Matt Falerios 2nd  year Novi pitching coach and member of the MSBL Hall of Fame.  Dave Beaton, former Minor league pitcher for the Detroit Tigers and present Novi Heat pitching instructor and coach. Ryan Smith 2nd year asst. coach and graduate of Novi High School. Awards for hard work and hustle.
Please wear sweats or a baseball uniform and gym shoes.
Equipment to bring: a bat, helmet and gloves.
Objective: Get all players Ages 7-14 ready for the baseball season.
Training: Fundamentals related to hitting, fielding, throwing & pitching, practice & training, arm strengthening, infield practice, and base running.

Fee: $3 cash or one pool buck per person (pool bucks sold in the Novi Community Education office)

Spring Break Basketball!

Boys and Girls Grades 1-8
Participants are divided into groups based on age and level of ability; they travel to a variety of skill stations.
Class Instructors: Coach Levin (Assistant Coach Madonna University); Mr. Grimm (Novi Meadows 6th Grade Teacher)

Dedicated to benefit everyone through lifelong learning.

Educating an Entire Community
Novi Community Education offers day and evening enrichment courses for people of all ages. Program areas include: academics, physical fitness, finance, swimming, arts and crafts, recreation, computers, dance, music, preschool and summer school. The Community Education Department continues to research new class ideas and instructors.

Novi Community School District buildings and facilities are used extensively by the community. Novi Community Education and the Novi Parks and Recreation Department work closely together sharing ideas to better serve the community. Local organizations can make arrangements to use district buildings and facilities during non-school hours. Call the Community Education office at (248) 449-1206 for more information.
