The Novi Community School District is an amazing place to learn and grow. We place a high priority on student achievement and making appropriate academic gains in one year's time. In order to accomplish this, we believe that learning is on a continuum. We are all lifelong learners. This philosophy is the core of our community education department; offering continuing education classes from Pre-K to Alternative & Adult Education.
We invite everyone to come and meet our teachers and students, ask questions and see what our program is all about. Students attending our program have the advantage of smaller class sizes and more individual instruction. We offer an opportunity to be successful and earn a Novi High School Diploma in an alternative setting.
Our alternative high school population consists of students who are under the age of 20. We recognize that all students have different learning styles, abilities and circumstances that impact the completion of your educational goals. At Novi Alternative High School, we offer a flexible schedule that will allow students to maximize their options to complete their high school education. We offer the opportunity for our students to graduate with a high school diploma. We celebrate that accomplishment by hosting a graduation ceremony attended by our school administration, school board and teachers. The celebration continues with refreshments after the ceremony. Novi Alternative High School helps our students move forward to obtain a life- sustaining career one class at a time.
Please obtain a copy of your transcript from the last school you attended and bring it with you to registration. Students under the age of 19 will need to provide immunization records. All students must provide a photo identfication or a birth certificate. Students seeking credit recovery will need to have a form completed by their counselor prior to registration.
