Feed The Need Summer Lunch Program

Feed the Need Summer Lunch Program is a collaboration between the Novi Rotary Club, Novi Interfaith Network, Novi Public Library, and staff from the Novi Community School District.  We know some students in our community struggle with healthy lunches once the school year ends because they are not able to receive regular lunch/breakfast from schools during that time.  We also know that some students would benefit from being connected with enrichment activities throughout the summer.

Feed the Need will be every Wednesday from 11:00 am-1:00 pm beginning June 17th at Village Oaks Elementary School.  Any student is welcome to attend.  The program will begin with lunch and each week there will be a variety of activities for students to participate in.

Funding for this program is from organizations, local businesses, and individual donors.  A program coordinator and food service staff member will be responsible for the management of food preparation and activities.  There will also be a number of community volunteers who will support the program.

Students are NOT required to register and this program is open to ALL students-they do not need to be "in need".

Please see flyer linked above for more details.
