• TAFT STAFF LOT - Attention Students: Parents are not to drop off students in the Staff Taft Lot. Please remind your parents that the Taft Staff lot IS NOT a parking lot for student drop off or pick up. This is causing very hazardous conditions for buses, staff and students. So please be courteous of this policy!

SKI TEAM RESULTS - The Novi Wildcat Ski Team competed their first dual meet of the season last night. The results are listed below.

Boys Results:

Novi vs Brother Rice                       Slalom:            BRM-20            Novi-16

                                                            GS:                  BRM- 17            Novi- 19

                                                            Total:               BRM- 37            Novi- 35

Novi wins against Brother Rice, Mitch Goodman and Nate Wood were first and third in Slalom, Mitch: 40.22 seconds and Nate 45.44, GS Mitch Goodman 38.21 seconds  2nd place and Jack Grove  38.36 seconds 4th.

Novi wins starting the season off 2-0 against some very tough competition. In slalom Mitch Goodman 40.22 seconds 1rst place, Nate Wood 45.44 3rd place. In GS Mitch Goodman 38.21 2nd place and Jack Grove 38.36 seconds third place.

Overall:  Mitch Goodman finishes 9th and Ross O’Donnell 19th in GS and in SL Mitch Goodman 3rd and Nate Wood 14th.

BRM wins: In SL Ashley Jamison 53.60 sec and Julia Braeuner 59.53 secs finished 5th and 7 th respectively, and in GS Ashley Jamison 44.76 secs and Julia Braeuner 46.03 secs finished 6 and 7.

Milford wins GS Ashley Jamison 44.76 seconds and Julia Braeuner 46.03 seconds finished 4th and 7th, and in SL Ashley Jamison 53.60 secs and Julia Braeuner 59.53 seconds finished 3 rd and 4th.

Overall our top two finishers in GS were: Ashley Jamison 27 th and Jula Braeuner 33 rd, and SL were Ashley Jamison 19th and Julia Braeuner 27th.

JV Results:

Jack Wilson: 16th in SL with a time of 39.11sec   

Hunter Goodman: 18th in SL with a time of 45.68 secs. 

YEARBOOK SENIOR PICTURES & MESSAGES - Yearbook Senior Photos are past due, but we can accept them. Please get them in as soon as possible.

Yearbook Senior Messages (parent ads) can be purchased online until March 31st. After an ad is purchased, a member of the yearbook staff will contact the parent for photos. Photos for purchased ads must be submitted by April 28th.

All questions concerning picking up a 2015-2016 yearbook, should be directed to Lydia Cadena.

MUSICAL - CAST AUDITIONS FOR FIDDLER ON THE ROOF ARE NEXT WEEK , Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after school. Call Back Auditions are Friday.

If you're one of those folks who loves to "entertain" in every class, why not give everyone,

especially your teachers, a break and consider channeling that skill and energy to the REAL stage:

Seriously - Join us as a performer: It will change your life.  There are many roles for men and women.

Go to the main office/attendance office and pick up a packet of information.

Then, go to the Call Board in the Performing Arts Hallway where you can sign up for a time slot.

BTW - All auditions are closed.

We need to fill some very important Crew Roles right away: student assistant, student director, stage manager.

Now's the time to apply - you'll need a packet too.

NHS MEETING - The meeting that was scheduled on the snow day, Jan. 17, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Jan. 24th, at 6:45 a.m.

MANDATORY AP MEETING - There is a mandatory AP meeting for all students interested in taking an AP test this May. The meeting will be held in the auditorium during Academic Advisory on February 1st. Students will receive their AP Student Bulletin and test order form. Test forms and money are due no later than 2:00pm, February 10th to Mrs. Wareck in attendance B.

TENNIS TEAM MEETING - There will be a Girls Tennis Meeting on Tuesday, February 7, immediately after school in room 105 for all girls interested in playing tennis this Spring. If you cannot attend, see Coach Lowes in room 105.

LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS - Local Scholarship Night for the Class of 2017 will take place April 26th, 2017.  Please note that applications will be made available online for seniors beginning Friday, December 23rd.  All information will be found on-line @ http://www.novi.k12.mi.us.  Students will follow the “Local Scholarships” link on the Novi High School homepage.  The completed applications, with all supporting documentation, are due no later than Friday, February 10th @ 2:30 pm.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  There are many local scholarship opportunities for seniors.  Please, search information online and ask your counselor if you have any questions.

CENTRAL MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY CAMPUS VISIT APRIL, 19, 2017 - The Counseling Office is excited to offer a college tour of CMU! College-bound freshman, Sophomores, & Juniors will have an opportunity to sign up for the tour.

The trip will cost $20 which covers the chartered bus (CMU is offsetting cost and providing lunch). The trip will only run if 20 or more sign up. Deadline is April 1st, However this opportunity is based on a first come first serve basis. Please stop by the counseling office for more info and to pick up the packet.
