Registration Update


Welcome to the NCSD Registration Update

Access Novi Community School District PowerSchool Parent Portal (PARENTS OF CURRENTLY ENROLLED NCSD STUDENTS)

Thank you for your continued patience as we work to migrate data from MISTARQ to PowerSchool. 
We need everyone to review and update the information for you and your student(s). This update requires you to log into the PowerSchool parent portal. Codes for PowerSchool were emailed to all parent/guardians in late August. 
If you did not receive an Access ID and Password or have misplaced your credentials please contact with your name, phone number, email address, and child/children's names. Or, you can call your child's school.  

Once you have logged into your parent portal, scroll down on the left menu and choose Forms.  
You will find four forms requiring completion by clicking the Enrollment tab.

NOVI Online Annual Registration – Student Information

Please review all demographic information to ensure we have the most up-to-date information. 
If you find an error, please contact our Central Enrollment office at 248-675-3400 and they will help guide you in making a correction.  
Additionally, please list any siblings currently enrolled in the Novi Community School District. 
Please select the Add Row button if you need to add additional siblings.  This will help PowerSchool establish a family relationship between children.   

NOVI Online Annual Registration – Student Contacts Update

Please review and update all student contact information. Novi Community School District would like two additional contacts (in addition to parents) to reach out to in the event of an emergency, or someone who, in the event you are unable to do so, could pick up your child.  If a contact requires a change of contact information, please select the pencil icon to the right of the contact. 
Please note the following regarding parent contact information changes.  
  • Duplicate parent contacts – Please do not delete a duplicate parent contact.  Please contact for resolution. 
  • Do not delete or add a parent/guardian. If changes need to be made, please contact your child's school. 
  • If you do not have consent to alter a parent or guardian’s contact information (address, phone, etc.), please do not make any changes to the other parent or guardian’s contact information.  
  • If there has been custody change that affects how the school interacts with either parent in relation to the student, please contact your child’s school and they will assist you.  The school office must have the custody agreement or court order on file.  
  • School Pickup – Please check this box if the Emergency Contact is authorized to pick up your child.   

Adding an Additional Emergency Contact

If you wish to add a contact to your child’s profile, select Add to the right just above the first contact.  Please enter their first and last name, relationship to the child, address, phone number and email address.  

Deleting a Contact

To delete a contact, please select the X to the right of the contact. 
Please do not delete a mother, father or guardian from your student’s record.

Please complete the Residence Survey by noting your current living arrangements.

Please complete the Permissions/Agreements page. 
We understand that some of this information has already been collected at the school level. For consistency and accuracy, we need you to update this information here as well. We apologize for any inconvenience. 
This page will look differently for students at various levels (e.g., Elementary, Middle School or High School). 
These permissions will be updated yearly through Online Annual Registration. 
The NOVI Online Annual Registration – Permissions/Agreements page is the final form in this process. 
You will receive a success message upon submission.  
If you have other children in the district, please select another child from the tabs at the top and complete this process for each student.
