Unified Sports
Novi High School was recognized as a National Unified Champion Banner School by Special Olympics North America in August 2020.
The banner was unveiled at halftime of a Unified basketball game in January 2022.
"I think this means a lot to students with disabilities and their general education peers," said Andrew Saari, Novi Unified Special Olympics Head Coach. "It's a great opportunity to show what is good in society." Read more at Hometown Life story from Aug. 26, 2020.

Novi High School hosted the first high school Unified Basketball tournament, in conjunction with the MHSAA and Special Olympics Michigan, in February 2019. The event was covered by several media outlets, including the Detroit News.
