7004-AR Distribution of Information/Materials
The School District periodically receives requests from various organizations to distribute informational or promotional materials on District property including, but not limited to, electronic distribution. In order to minimize intrusions on the time of students and employees that result from such distribution, the following will apply:
Organizations must submit the following information for review and approval prior to distribution:
The Superintendent will review and approve or deny materials for which a request for distribution has been received before distribution occurs. If permission to distribute the material is denied, the person or organization shall have the opportunity to make necessary revisions and/or deletions and re-submit to the Superintendent's office for approval.
The distribution may be authorized if the material:
is related to a current course of student offered by the school;
ties in with a District-sponsored activity;
is unrelated to a District activity, but is related to an activity for students that is conducted by an approved outside organization and is to be distributed only to students who are participating in that activity;
is unrelated to any type of student activity, but presents information that will be beneficial to the students receiving the material and distribution by other means is either not possible or is not feasible.
Permission to distribute or display material does not imply agreement of its contents by either the administration of the school, the Superintendent, or the Board.

This event/activity/offer is not sponsored by the School District. The School District assumes no responsibility for the conduct or safety of persons attending or participating in the event/activity/offer.
Time, Place, and Manner of Distribution
The distribution of written material shall be limited to a reasonable time, place, and manner as determined by the principal who shall ensure that:
no material is distributed or displayed during a time or place of a school activity if it is likely to cause a substantial disruption of that activity or of other activities;
no material is distributed or displayed if it blocks the safe flow of traffic within corridors and entrance ways of the school;
Superintendent or designee approved flyers are distributed:
The District cooperates with approved community partners and therefore posts eflyers online, distributing them through the service provider, Peachjar. Once a flyer has been submitted to Peachjar, the flyer is routed to the District office for approval and then distributed to parents who have their email addresses updated in the MiStar system. Peachjar also posts District approved flyers of other businesses online. Please be advised that Peachjar charges a fee, for businesses other than their approved community partners, this service.
