All K-6 Staff in Novi have had Signature Training in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Highly qualified staff that are steadfast and driven with an unwavering effort to personalize and individualize teaching and learning based on students' needs, interests, and aptitudes. Students realize their potential and diverse talents through art, music, physical education, and media/library weekly. PV staff builds strong relationships, while utilizing the resources, incredible facilities, technology, and systems to ensure success and continuous progress for all students.

A Strong learning community, which offers first-rate programs that inspire greatness. Students experience learning that integrates a robust and rigorous targeted curriculum in literacy, social studies, sciences, and math in order to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and perspectives needed to thrive in the age of globalization. PV has a diverse population. Through our work and interactions each day, Parkview learners are learning how to be cross culturally competent leaders.

Student and staff leadership, which is honored and celebrated. Using the internationally recognized process, "The Leader in Me" and The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen Covey, all staff and students K-6 in the Novi Community Schools learn to set goals, reflect, problem solve, think creatively and critically in order to relate, interact, and take responsibility as leaders to ensure a competitive edge in life.

Utilization of technology as a tool for staff and students to develop digital competencies and to learn creatively. Students utilize Interactive white boards, document readers, cameras, wireless laptops and iPads with confidence. Use of state of the art technology inspires our creativity with teaching and learning and opens up possibilities with regard to interacting and connecting with the world.

Strong partnerships with the Parent Teacher organization, as well as the community. Partnering with The Parkview Parent-Teacher Organization, Parkview reached Emerald Status with the Michigan Department of Education's Green School Award. Parkview participates in various service projects, assemblies, field trips, after school family programs, and a reading incentive program run by student leadership, and supported by Lotus Bank, called The B.E.A.R (Be Excited About Reading) Club. The B.E.A.R. Club has been a long tradition of school and community partnership at Parkview.
