ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE DURING SCHOOL CLOSURE

For students/families who need to re-enroll in Novi Community School District:
  1. Please send an email to Tanya Vuichard (tatiana.vuichard@novik12.org) to request student re-enrollment.
  2. Parents/Guardians may scan residency documentation to Tanya Vuichard or submit in person at your student's building once school reconvenes. 
  3. Students will be re-enrolled and their schedule will be reinstated.
  4. Students will have access to the digital educational platforms provided by NCSD within 48 hours.

WELCOME TO THE NOVI COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT!

The Novi Community School District has a centralized enrollment system to improve customer service for new families and students.  Parents and guardians no longer enroll their students at individual school buildings. The one-stop enrollment for all Novi Schools – preschool through high school – now takes place through the Community Education Department, located at the Early Childhood Education Center.

FOR PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT ONLY

Do not complete the enrollment process via MISTAR for preschool. 
Please call 248-675-3431 or visit the Early Childhood Education Center for more information.  

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE

 
 
STEP 2: Make An Appointment
To complete the enrollment process, all new families are required to make an appointment with the Community Education Department by calling 248-675-3400.  Appointments are available Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Students are not required to attend the meeting.

 

Enrollment Appointments are held at:
Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) and Community Education 
25745 Taft Road
Novi, Michigan  48374
 
Students will not be enrolled until the parent/guardian attends their appointment and all required documentation is collected.

RE-ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE

If your student has been absent more than 10 days, but less that 30 days, you will need to re-enroll your child at the ECEC.  To do this, you must bring your driver's license or state I.D. that shows your current address, along with your property tax statement or current lease. 

In addition, you must bring two (2) of the following: 

  • automobile or homeowners/renters insurance
  • bank or credit card statement
  • medical bill or health insurance statement 
  • utility or cable bill
You must come to ECEC and complete the re-enrollment form before your child can return to school.
If you come in before noon, your child will start back to school the following day. 
If you come in after noon, your child will start back to school two days later. 
If your student has been absent more than 30 days, you will need to enroll as a new student.
