Online Annual Registration

Beginning Aug. 3 the Novi Community School District will use a mandatory Online Annual Registration system, via the MISTAR Parent Portal, for parents to update all currently registered student information (such as Emergency Contacts).  The goal of the new system is to improve customer service for returning families and students.

This system will be used for the annual online registration for all currently enrolled K-12 and NATC students.

Please note that Novi Middle School and Novi High School students WILL  RECEIVE INFORMATION FROM THEIR PRINCIPAL ABOUT NECESSARY STEPS TO COMPLETE their registration, in addition to completing the Online Annual Registration. 

WELCOME STUDENTS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE NEW TO THE NOVI COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT!

For parents of New-To-District NCSD Students (who have completed the Pre-Enrollment process): You will receive an email communication from the Novi Community School District in early August. This email will give parents their Parent Portal login and password information, in time to use the Online Annual Registration system for their student. 

 

ANNUAL ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

STEP 1: COMPLETE ONLINE ANNUAL ENROLLMENT PROCESS VIA MISTAR

  • Log into your Parent Portal and click on “Annual Registration” link at the top of the screen to begin the process.  
  • On the Annual Registration Review screen, click on the Edit buttons to update student registration.
  • If you do not have access to a device to register your student, please contact your school building main office after August 10 and they will assist you. 

*Note: You will need your MISTAR Parent Portal PIN and Password to start.  For questions, please visit the MISTAR page on this website.

STEP 2: DETERMINE ITEMS/DONATIONS FOR WHICH YOU WOULD LIKE TO PAY

Print Credit Card SBA Online Payment Directions if you wish to pay online for items in your student’s account.  If paying by cash/check, you do not need these directions.


Grades K-6: 

Visit the Account Module for your student on your Parent Portal if using a credit card.  There is a 3.5% convenience fee for each credit card transaction.
 

Food Service Payments can also be paid using the Cafeteria Module for your student on Parent Portal using a credit card (a processing fee will be charged).

Grades 7-12

Visit the Account Module for your student on your Parent Portal if using a credit card.  There is a 3.5% convenience fee for each credit card transaction. Payment can also be made using cash/check. 
 

Please print the corresponding Payment Voucher below, complete it, and bring to in-person Middle School or High School Registration, along with PayPal Receipt, and cash/checks.  Any type of payment must be recorded on the proper space on the Payment Voucher.
